National Oleksandr Dovzhenko Centre launches a project featuring premiers of the latest Ukrainian films titled Ukrainian New Wave. Within it, the audience will see films just created with the assistance or to order of the State Film Agency of Ukraine. Premiere screenings of Ukrainian films are planned to be held regularly, as soon as new films produced in Ukraine will appear.
The first program of the Ukrainian New Wave project consists of seven short films, some of which participated or will soon participate in international film festivals. Two of them - the films Ukrainian Lessons and The Road – have just been completed and will be shown on big screen for the first time.
